For better understanding of what these regions has to offer and how to combine them into your Iceland trip plan, this easterly rout starts at Hella east of <a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/de\/trip\/reykjavik\/\"><strong>Reykjav\u00edk<\/strong><\/a>, then divided to three parts until it reaches Lake Myvatn west of Akureyri.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Starting at Hella, head 100 km on the Ring Road #1 to Vik, the island\u2019s southern tip, while enjoying great waterfalls, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/de\/attraction\/dyrholaey-cliff\/\">Dyrholaey Cliff<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/de\/attraction\/reynisfjara\/\">Reynisfjara<\/a> <\/strong>black beach and more.<\/li>\n<li>From Vik return to Reykjavik or continue with the second part of the route all the way to the highly popular and magnificent <a href=\"https:\/\/thetjoy.com\/de\/attraction\/jokulsarlon-the-glacier-lagoon-and-the-diamond-beach\/\"><strong>Glacier Lagoon<\/strong><\/a> and further to Hofn. In this 270 km northeasterly part of the route you will enjoy some of the most beautiful and popular natural sites in Iceland.<\/li>\n<li>In Hofn return to Reykjavik or continue north and northwest all the way to Lake Myvatn and Akureyri for a complete Iceland circular tour.
