Traveling France there are 4 major regions offering different attractions and experiences, including Paris the capital and its surroundings, the northwestern Normandy and Brittany, the southern Provence, and the southeastern French Riviera. Other 3 minor regions to travel in France are The Champagne Valley northeast of Paris, The Loire Valley south of Paris, and Strasbourg and the Alsace Region in eastern France.
When visiting Paris, we would recommend to consider traveling the Loire Valley and or the Champagne Wine Region, Rouen and Mont Saint Michel of Normandy.
When in Provence consider traveling parts of the French Riviera and vice versa, and when visiting Alsace and Strasburg consider traveling also the nearby and beautiful German Black Forest Region.
