The British Island, home to England, Wales, and Scotland offers numerous travel opportunities including a visit to London, one of the most visited cities in the world, the beautiful countryside and attractions of Wales’s Cardiff, the destinations and attractions west of London, and the beautiful Kent region east of the city.
In the northern part of the Island, you will enjoy York and its surrounding National Parks, the magnificent Lake District, and Scotland with its beautiful nature gems and cultural experiences. When visiting London consider few days trips to either its western attractions and to Wales’s Cardiff, or north to Cambridge and southeast to Kent’s recommended destinations. Traveling the northern parts of the Island you can combine the visit to York and its surroundings with a visit to the Lake District and further north to Scotland.
