Six great travel plans in Germany includes a visit to Berlin, offering cultural and art treasures, and vibrant night life, Munich the capital of Bavaria, and the nearby Romantic Road with its beautiful Medieval towns, fairytale palaces and magnificent countryside. In western Germany take a boat cruise or leisurely travel the Romantic Rhine, or especially for families, travel the Black Forest region ideal for active outdoor vacation. In southern Germany enjoy the overwhelming landscapes of the German Alpine Panoramic Road through Germany’s highest mountain ranges and beautiful lakes.
When visiting Munich, take 1-2 day trips to either the northern part of the Romantic Road, or south including parts of the German Alpine Panoramic Road. When traveling the Black Forest’s region you can consider taking 1-3 day trips north to parts of the Romantic Rhine, or southwest to the western parts of the Alpine Road.
