The zoo offers educational and interactive experiences observing more than 800 animals of 270 species including mammals from the big cats to the smallest primates, birds, reptiles and amphibians. All the animals are within spacious open area and natural like habitats enclosures. In the zoo a Playground for smaller children and restaurants. The zoo is in Vila Nova de Gaia, 10 minutes walk west of Porto center.
