• Zakynthos’ Southeast Beaches

This part of the island is home to numerous resorts and beaches with some considered the most beautiful in the island.

Banana Beach
The longest beach on the island, 14 km southeast of the town of Zakynthos, beautiful with its soft sand and shallow clear water. The beach has all the required facilities and a water sports center.

Spanzia Beach
West of Banana Beach, it is a beautiful partially sandy and partially pebbled, great for families and offering all the required facilities.

Porto Zorro Beach
A long sandy beach popular and crowded, great for families, but with limited facilities.

Porto Kaminia beach
West of Porto Zorro it’s a highly popular, small and sandy beach, great for families and offering all the required beach facilities.

Defni Beach
Somewhat secluded the beach is south of Banana Beach, offering some facilities, and is great for families.

Gerakas Beach
One of the most beautiful beaches of the island, its a long sandy beach offering limited beach facilities, some water sports activities, and is great for children.

Porto Roma beach, Plaka beach
Both beaches offer partial facilities and are great for families.
