- The eastern Praia de Vilamoura between Vilamoura Marina and Quarteira fishing port. The beach is semi-sheltered from the ocean waves and currents, hence the waters are calm and safe for children.
- The western Praia da Falesia with the Ribeira de Quarteira river in between. The beach is 5 km long stretching between Vilamoura and Olhos de Agua, known for its red sandstone cliffs, and better surfing conditions. The western section of the beach is usually less crowded.
- Praia de Quarteira beach stretches along the town coast and is quit similar to Vilamoura Beach.
