Petaloudes is one of the most beautiful nature attractions in Rhodes, 38 km southwest of the town of Rhodes and 6 km south of the village of Theologos. In the valley thousands of Callimorpha Quadripunctaria Butterflies cover the trees in the Summer for reproduction.
Stroll the trails or ride the Butterfly Train in the woods and near the river to enjoy the lush vegetation, the water streams, and the local Natural History Museum.
