• Trip 2 – From Trento to Canazei, Val di Fiemme, and Val di Fassa

This trip will take you north of Trento on the SS48, the Dolomites Road, from Cavalese through Val de Fiemme to Moena, and north in Val di Fassa through Vigo di Fassa to Canazei.

Val di Fiemme
Great for families, it’s home to few activity parks such as Avisio Rafting and Activity Park, the Gardone Alpine Coaster, and the Avisio Park in San Martino di Castrozza, part of the Natural Park of Paneveggio, a beautiful area to visit by itself.

Val di Fassa
The valley is surrounded by the Dolomites, the Sella Mountain Range, the Marmolada Massif and the Rosengarten in the west.
The valley which follows the Avisio River offers sightseeing, active vacation, and culture and traditions in both summer and winter in its major resort villages.

There are seven major resort villages including the family oriented Moena and Vigo di Fassa, the tranquil Soraga and Mazzin, Pozza di Fassa, and the active Campitello di Fassa and Canazei.

The Valley is surrounded by five striking mountains passes, the Sella, Pordoi, Fedaia, San Pellegrino and Costalunga Passes.
The passes are great spots for amazing landscapes, hiking and ski trails.

The amazing variety of the Dolomites rocky formations, the richness of flora and fauna, the meadows, woods and lakes and the different historical and cultural characteristics of the villages, all make Val di Fassa a unique and unforgettable destination.

Once in the valley we would recommend consulting with the tourist centers in each village and town for the available activities, hiking trails and more.
To really enjoy the area, you would need at least 2-3 days. Select your hub and starting point for the local trips and outdoor activities to enjoy.
