• Titisee Lake

A highly popular lake in the southern parts of the Black Forest, 27 km southeast of Freiburg.
Two km long and one km wide, it’s the largest natural lake in the region, offering beautiful hiking trails in the lake surroundings and in the nearby forests, swimming, sailing, ice skating in the winter, and other water sports activities opportunities.
There are numerous lodging opportunities around the lake, and a nice lakeside promenade with open air cultural events, cafes, restaurants, and small shops. You can rent a motorboat, a kayak, bicycles, and more, for a great active vacation. With children enjoy yourself in the Action Forest Kletterwald, and the beautiful “Caribbean” Badeparadies Schwarzwald waterpark slides and saunas. In the Winter, Titisee lake offers numerous activities including the Hochfirstschanze, The large natural ski jump course, the 1.2 km long Saig-Titisee toboggan, and various Alpine and Cross Country skiing. When the lake is frozen a natural ice rink, Hermeshof-Natureisstadion enables skating, Winter walks, and more.
