• The Reichstag

The seat of the German parliament in Platz der Republik Berlin, Germany, and one of the city’s most significant historical buildings, with its impressive glass dome and famous façade. The Neo Renaissance palace was constructed to house the Imperial formal assembly in 1894 and served as such until 1933 when it was set on fire and severely damaged. Following the German reunification in 1990 and major restoration process the Reichstag became again in 1999 the seat of the German Parliament, the Bundestag.
The major symbol of the restored building is the large new Glass Dome placed at the top. The Dome offers both a 360 degrees panoramic view of the city, remarkable at night, and a view to the Parliament’s main debate hall underneath it. Visit the Reichstag to enjoy the luxurious state rooms, the rich art collections, and the cityscape through its glass dome. Be sure to reserve online a visit and a tour. http://www.bundestag.de/en
