• The Prince of Monaco Palace

The luxurious royal residence palace of Albert II prince of Monaco, offering magnificent and luxuriously decorated state apartments open for guided tours in the summer. Originally from the 16th century, the palace went through major restorations in the 18th and 19th centuries, some based on the Paris Versailles Palace.
Visiting the state apartments you will tour among others the Mirror room, the Blue room, the Throne room in which all the major ceremonies are held, and the most impressive, the Mazarin drawing room.
Enjoy beautiful ceiling frescoes, brocade coverings, gilded decorations, Carrara Marble floors, paintings, sculptures,  Murano glass chandeliers, and 18th century French style furniture. During summer the palace courtyard host open air concerts, and in front the castle a changing of the guard ceremony is held daily at 11:55 a.m.
