• Reykjanes Geopark

The Geopark is a volcanic wonder located on a peninsula between two continents, on the southwestern tip of Iceland near the Kefalvik Airport and 70 km southwest of Reykjavik. While in the area visit the Brimketill lava rock oceanside ‘pool’, Gunnuhver, the largest mud pool in Iceland with its hot water springs and powerful steam vents, and the Reykjanesviti lighthouse on Bæjarfell, offering great sea and land scenery.
Cross the ‘bridge between continents’, 5 km to the north, where you can walk between the continental plates that divide the peninsula.
