• Nestor’s Palace

A well preserved 14th century BC Mycenaean royal palace, 183 km southwest of Nafplio and 17 km north of Pylos. The palace which was an important center in Mycenaean era was a two-story building with 45 rooms and halls. The most important findings in the palace was a group of several hundred tablets which established the link between the Mycenaean and Minoan civilizations, beautiful frescoes, and the famous bathroom, with its painted terracotta tub.
