Take the funicular from the town historic center to Sitio district, the town’s highest point, offering magnificent landscapes of the town and the Atlantic ocean, and visit the 12th century small Chapel of the Miracle’s Memory, and the 14th century Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazare.
Visit the 16th century fort of São Miguel and lighthouse, and if you visit town with children enjoy the Norpark Aquatic Amusement Park offering water slides and pools.
