• Munich’s St. Peter church

Peterskirche is a Roman Catholic church near Marienplatz originally dated to the  12th century and considered the oldest in the city. The church offers magnificent landscapes from the viewing platform at the high tower, including the city and the Alpine Mountains in the south. Inside the church enjoy the 18th century Baroque altar with a golden figure of St. Peter and figures of the Four Fathers of the Church, the relics of St. Munditia inside a glass coffin, the red marble monuments by Erasmus Grasser, and the panel paintings on the choir walls by Jan Polack.
