• Monastery of Agios Dionysios

A Greek Orthodox Monastery on the eastern slopes of Mount Olympus, in the Enipeas ravine, 3 km northwest of the town of Litochoro. The original 16th century monastery was destroyed by the Germans in 1943 and a new monastery was built 5 km northeast of the original location. In the monastery museum you will admire a collection of various items, relics and artifacts collected by the monastery monks since the 16th century.
