• Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy

Bayeux’s war museum presents the events of the 100 days period from June 6, 1944, the D-Day “Operation Overlord” invasion to the liberation of Normandy. A visit to the museum should be combined with a visit to the nearby Landing Beaches, where the Gold Beach and the America/Gold Beach Museum are the closest to the museum. In the museum audio, video, and visual displays along with military equipment, armored vehicles and tanks, small arms, and various memorabilia.
