• Inveraray Castle

An 18th century country house near Inveraray on the shore of Loch Fyne, 65 km northwest of Balloch, the gateway to Loch Lomond. The castle is on the way south from the Fort Willian region through Loch Lomond back east to Glasgow and Edinburgh. The castle is the seat of the Dukes of Argyll, chiefs of the Campbell Clan.
