The oldest quarter of Cadiz, originally from the Roman period, where you can admire the remarkable Roman Theater, one of the largest in Spain. Most of the quarter as seen today was built in Medieval times with its narrow winding cobbled streets, lined with small local shops and bars, beautiful small squares, and impressive palaces.

Visit the special Oratorio de la Santa Cueva Neoclassic 18th century church highly decorated with paintings by the famous Goya, and the 17th century impressive palace of Casa del Almirante (the Admiral’s House).
