• Diogo de Sousa Archaeological Museum

Located in the center of what was the Roman City of Bracara Augusta, south of Braga center, the museum is named after the 16th century Braga’s archbishop Diogo de Sousa. The museum collection includes items excavated in Braga dated from the Palaeolithic to the Middle Ages.
Near the museum an excavation of the impressive Termas romanas de Maximinos, the 1st century Roman thermal baths.
