One of the most beautiful parks in Germany within the Berchtesgaden Alps region in Germany’s southeastern region near the Austrian border, south of the town bearing the same name. The park is 158 km southeast of Munich and 39 km south of Salzburg Austria, at the end of the German Alpine Road. Within the park area you will enjoy the impressive Watzmann mountain, the beautiful Konigssee Lake, the smaller Obersee Lake, and the Watzmann and Blaueis Glaciers.
It is an Alpine Jewel of high mountains, green forests with steep rocky slopes, crystal clear lakes, and tranquil rolling hills and meadows. Within the park a network of beautiful hiking and cycling trails of all levels and length, offering overwhelming viewpoints of the surrounding scenery.
