A small Medieval town on the Loire River, 37 km northeast of Blois. Stroll the streets of the town historic center around the 11th century Caesar Tower and Place Saint-Firmin, and along the river near the long bridge over the Loire River. Visit the Dunois Castle, a grand renaissance townhouse, the beautiful 16th century town hall, the 12th century Roman Church of Saint-Etienne used for art exhibitions, and the 12th century Abbey of Notre-Dame with its beautiful stained glass windows and the wood carved baroque altarpiece.
